Hilo, Hawaii

First Port: Hilo - on the big island of Hawaii Our first stop on the cruise was Hilo, Hawaii (big island). It's main attraction is the active volcano, so we rented a car and drove up to check it out. To be honest, it was a rainy day, but we didn't really like this stop anyway. We weren't able to see any active lava, so the excitement of the volcano was minimal - the sulphur smell reminded us of Yellowstone though.
