We got a great view from the roof of Snow Goose Pub
clear day (it was in the 70s and cloudless) and we could see Denali (for outsiders - that's Mt. McKinley) from downtown Anchorag

since it was only 2pm we decided to stop in Girdwood for their Forest Fair - it was a neat hippie fest - we looked at neat handm
we had our fun - heading north to Anchorage

the Iditarod trail actually started in Seward and went the Anchorage then Nome as a mail route, but now the dog sled race starts
