after 20 minutes we arrived at Spencer Glacier Whistetop

glacier streams are cloudy and don't sustain life (so no bears were fishing)

we were out in an area inaccessible by car - so pristine

We picked up the train at the Portage stop

it might be an Indian summer, but there are definite signs of autumn

back on the Seward highway - another beautiful day

moose tracks - fairly fresh

heading back to Anchorage for some disc golf

you can see at least 3 at surface this round

don't know a whole lot about belugas - not sure what is poking up

they were traveling - not feeding or jumping - but it was still neat to watch them

we think there was 4 traveling together -we saw them just past "Beluga Point"

oh yeah - there was seal too!

belugas are white (from Russian word) or a grayish color
