Labor Day - AWCC

We finally got some sunshine again (2 rainy days) and decided to soak up the sun on the Turnagain Arm (south of Anchorage). We went to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see some animals up close and personal (really - an elk did a bluff charge at me), stopped for some BBQ at the Arm Pit, and saw more wildlife on our drive back home. After a nap, we biked in Kincaid Park and saw one moose grazing off the trail. All in all, a great day off - and there are definitely signs of fall upon us.
